My name is Yvonne Kok, and for as long as I can remember, I have been painting. The flow, the colors, the way the paint melts and blends together, transforming thoughts into images, these elements make me feel truly present in the moment when I’m creating. It’s a wonderful feeling.

Women and owls are at the heart of my work, brought to life through vibrant colors and layers upon layers of paint.

Through my paintings, I explore themes like resilience, affirmations, and self-love, expressed not only through imagery but also through words and symbols. Many of the messages reveal themselves only after spending time with the artwork. Every piece tells its own unique story.

I believe everyone has the right to shine their own light on this beautiful planet. Loving yourself is the ultimate freedom.
